Housekeeping Attendant

Cleanliness is top of mind for us and our guests. Our Housekeeping colleagues play a vital role in providing the peace of mind our guests can expect with the IHG Clean Promise; ensuring guests’ rooms and public areas are consistently clean and well-presented creating a fresh, clean, and welcoming environment.
So, we’re searching for a Room Attendant with an exceptional eye for detail and a passion for perfection to make sure every guest enjoys a truly memorable experience at Crowne Plaza Adelaide.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Making sure our rooms and public spaces are at their absolute best for our guests
  • Helping our guests in any way you can – whether they’ve forgotten their toothbrush or just need to find the elevator
  • Managing your time and tasks, and keeping your supervisor in the loop by advising them of any progress or problems
  • Monitoring and controlling supplies to minimise waste and helping us to hit our environmentally friendly targets
  • Doing your best to reunite guests with any lost or misplaced items
  • Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

 

What we need from you:

At Crowne Plaza Adelaide our goal is to make business travel work. We look for people who are dynamic, confident and ambitious; people who excel in their role and help our guests succeed too!

  • Ability to assist in all aspects of the housekeeping department including rooms, and public areas
  • It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so attention to safe manual handling is a must; including occasional lifting/push/pull of heavy items and you may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Passion and to be a team player who enjoys working individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively within your department and with the Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience
  • Flexibility – willing and able to work across all shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
