Position Statement

The Director Groups Meetings and Events Sales Development – Singapore is responsible for elevating GM&E performance across our Singapore hotels with a focus on process, team setup, and best practise adoption. The role will ensure maximum efficiency and embedded job skills to support GM&E leaders and team members with the delivery of set targets that are both budget related and qualitative.

What will I be doing?

As the Director Groups Meetings and Events Sales Development – Singapore, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Support the Regional Director of Sales Operations with the GM&E teams’ adoption of Enterprise solutions & tools to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop GM&E training plans and ensure that relevant team members grow and develop in their functional knowledge according to the plan, understanding customer needs and reinforcing Hilton’s ways of working.
  • Summarize and manage the hotel GM&E sales process, conducting regular sales evaluations to ensure each salesperson achieves the desired results.
  • Monitor the output value of sales and adjust sales training actions according to market changes.
  • Organize travel schedules and manage travel expenses to optimize sales force.
  • Build relationships with key GM&E solution partners and Hilton regional sales offices in partnership with the Regional Director of Sales Operations.
