A Reservations Agent plays a crucial role in managing guest bookings and ensuring a seamless reservation experience. Here are the typical day-to-day activities for this position:
Day-to-Day Activities of a Reservations Agent
Handling Guest Inquiries:
Answering phone calls and responding to emails from guests interested in making reservations or having questions about their bookings
Providing information about room availability, rates, hotel amenities, and local attractions
Managing Reservations:
Processing reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel’s reservation system
Ensuring that all reservation details are accurately recorded and updated in the system
