About the role
At Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, the role of the Senior Housekeeping Manager is to manage the staff and control the activities of the Housekeeping Department assuring that our Guest Rooms, Public Areas and Employee Areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness.

 

What you will do:

  • Manages the staff and controls the daily activities of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Interviews, trains, evaluates, leads, motivates, and coaches, all Housekeeping employees.
  • Establishes detailed cleaning and preventive maintenance programs to ensure appearance and life of all furniture, fixtures and equipment.
  • Sets and maintains high standards of cleanliness.
  • Assigns staff to complete the activities needed for the day.
  • Monitors staff’s activities to ensure that standards are achieved, staff are being supported and owner/guest needs are being met. Inspects all areas of responsibility daily.
  • Works directly with outside contracted companies to assure quality and timeliness of work.
  • Resolves owner/guest complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Monitors and controls labor expense and other divisional expenses such as Uniforms, Linen, Guest Supplies, Cleaning Supplies and Contract Services.
  • Establishes and maintains accurate inventory records. Participates in periodic Linen, Uniform and Supplies Inventories.

 

What you bring:

  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills and are able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.
  • The candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Previous Housekeeping leadership experience preferred.
