Club Receptionist

Job Description

 

  • To have a good computer knowledge in Microsoft / Word and Excel to make him/her able to compose correspondence i.e. letters, e-mail and memos.
  • He/she must have the basic required decent knowledge of English Language.
  • To be aware of fire policy, first aid, accident and emergency procedures.
  • To carry out any other jobs as and when required or directed by the Club Supervisor and Club Manager.
  • To attend any department meetings when required.
  • To attend any training sessions when required.
  • To establish and maintain effective relationships with employees.
  • To perform any other task required by the Management.
  • To report to work in a clean uniform and neat appearance in accordance with the Hotel’s standard.
  • To remain at the reception desk to offer the best service to the club users and register them on the necessary registration sheets.
  • To meet and greet members and guests.
  • To be responsible for maintaining Club policies and procedures.
  • To assume responsibility for the smooth running of the Club Reception.
  • To assume certain responsibilities within the scope of his / her duties and to be able to deal with problems and situations at hand.
  • To handle all club daily paper work including all necessary typing required, as well as to ensure that all the club mailing lists are updated periodically.
  • Answering all calls in courteous and efficient manner, take message for the members and guest, management staff whenever person concerned cannot be located

 

 

Qualifications

 

 

  • Prior receptionist experience in a 3-to-5-star Hotel.
  • Native Arabic speaker – this is a mandatory requirement.
  • Age 25 to 30
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic.
  • Proficient with computers and office software (e.g., Word, Excel, email).
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer service training is an advantage.
