Job Description

 

Social/Executive Meeting Manager (EMM)

The Social/Executive Meeting Manager is responsible for managing and servicing Wedding Room Group Blocks, local catering events and other group blocks of 10 rooms or fewer. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.

The EMM serves as the main point of contact from inquiry through event execution, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal and external clients. Success in this role comes from your ability to anticipate client needs, manage details efficiently, and deliver the refined level of service that defines the Sofitel brand.

What You’ll Be Doing

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary sales contact for all Wedding Group Room Blocks
  • Serve as the primary contact for all local catering events and small room blocks (10 rooms and under).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients and repeat partners.
  • Conduct site inspections, tastings, and planning meetings to ensure all client expectations are met.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare detailed proposals and contracts.
