About the role of Director of Reservations:
Manage the day to date operation of the reservations department (function as resource for reservations sales agents: handle reservations sales calls; problem and conflict resolution; scheduling).
Operate and manage a Property Management System.
Control rooms and rate availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenue
In depth knowledge of Opera a must with PMS and configuration experience.
Comprehensive computer and analytical skills, superior guest service and salesmanship skills. Proven success in a previous rooms division management position required, ability to manage multiple tasks, improve efficiency and productivity.
Ideally 2+ years experience working as reservations manager.
Revenue analyst experience a plus.
