Job Description

 

We are currently looking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our Front Office team. As a Night Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours, providing excellent customer service to guests and handling financial transactions accurately.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform accurate and efficient check-ins and check-outs for guests arriving or departing during the night shift
  • Conduct nightly audits to reconcile and balance all hotel transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports summarising hotel operations during the night shift
  • Monitor and respond to any emergency situations or security issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with other departments to communicate relevant information and ensure a seamless transition between shifts
  • Assist guest with all enquiries and complaints and provide accurate information to guests about Hotel facilities and features
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiples tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and standard office applications
  • Availability to work overnight shift from 11 pm to 7 am, weekends and public holidays
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office and preferably in Opera
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members
