Director of Membership

We are looking for a Director of Membership to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.

Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 170 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality.

The Director of Membership will be the driving force behind the creation, growth, and success of the membership club at Delano Miami Beach as we prepare for the re-opening of this iconic property. This role will focus on attracting, engaging, and retaining an exclusive, highly-desirable membership base, ensuring exceptional member experiences and creating a lasting sense of community. You will lead the membership team, strategize revenue growth initiatives, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standard of service and benefits for members.

 

Job Description

 

What you’ll do… 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive membership strategy that attracts, captivates, and retains a cultivated, exclusive membership base, elevating the Delano experience.
  • Introduce groundbreaking membership tiers, bespoke packages, and elevated services that reflect the Delano spirit, ensuring our membership base remains both sophisticated and profitable.
  • Stay ahead of the curve—constantly analyze market trends, member behavior, and competitors, and ensure our offerings stay fresh, enticing, and in tune with our clientele.
  • Guide and lead a team that delivers exceptional service to your members and any potential members
  • Foster an environment of collaboration, excellence, and creativity, ensuring your team is inspired and aligned with Delano’s commitment to luxury and personalized service.
  • Curate bold initiatives to boost membership revenue, from innovative promotional campaigns to exclusive corporate partnerships and member referral programs.
  • Execute creative strategies to achieve and surpass our year-one membership targets while maintaining the integrity and exclusivity of the club.
  • Uncover new, elevated revenue streams through premium experiences, unique offerings, and partnerships with luxury brands that perfectly complement the Delano lifestyle.
  • Build and nurture deep, personalized relationships with each member—crafting an experience that is uniquely tailored to their tastes, desires, and expectations.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse with proactive communication, ensuring members feel connected to the essence of Delano Miami Beach at all times.
  • Leverage data and insights to understand member preferences and behaviors, continuously enhancing the member experience with tailored offerings.
  • Use data-driven strategies to personalize the membership journey, boosting satisfaction and ensuring our offerings remain compelling.
  • Craft a seamless, personalized onboarding process for new members that introduces them to the exclusive Delano experience from the very first moment.
  • Maintain an ongoing engagement strategy that keeps members enchanted with exclusive access to curated events, personalized service, and surprise moments that align with the Delano lifestyle.
  • Continuously solicit feedback and adjust services, ensuring the membership program evolves and remains as exclusive and exciting as our members deserve.
  • Work closely with hotel operations, sales, marketing, and events teams to create seamless integration of the membership program into the broader Delano experience.
