Guest Service Agent

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Convention Centre is a vibrant coastal destination with over 370 rooms, a stunning lagoon, outdoor pool, and a variety of dining experiences. We’re also home to the Sunshine Coast’s largest convention centre, hosting events for up to 1,500 guests – so no two days are ever the same.

Job Description

 

As a Guest Service Agent at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in shaping their overall experience. From arrival to departure, your professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional service will ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable stay.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring smooth arrivals and departures
  • Handle guest enquiries and phone calls efficiently and with genuine care
  • Promote Accor’s loyalty program by highlighting perks and encouraging sign-ups
  • Support occupancy and revenue goals through confident upselling and cross-selling
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional, guest-focused service

Qualifications

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a hotel front office or customer-facing hospitality role
  • Confident using Microsoft Office; familiarity with Opera Cloud is highly regarded
  • A strong guest-focused mindset with great attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
