Resumen

Supervisar la operación eficiente de la cocina y coordinar con otros departamentos para garantizar un servicio de calidad.  Se encarga de gestionar el personal, asegura su capacitación y fomenta un ambiente positivo. Además, atendiende las necesidades de los huéspedes, cumple con normas de higiene y seguridad.

 

Funciones

      • Supervisar el funcionamiento eficiente de la cocinas, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares culinarios y de higiene, además de coordinar la operación con otros departamentos como Alimentos y Bebidas.
      • Garantizar el cuidado, inventario y buen estado de las instalaciones, equipos y suministros, asegurando que todo esté en orden y que los costos operativos se mantengan dentro de lo presupuestado.
      • Asignar responsabilidades a los empleados, supervisar su desempeño, asegurarse de que estén actualizados a través de la capacitación y fomentar un ambiente de trabajo positivo y profesional.
      • Mantener una actitud profesional, brindar atención a las inquietudes de los huéspedes, especialmente relacionadas con la calidad de los alimentos y servicios, y garantizar su satisfacción.
      • Cumplir con los estándares establecidos de higiene, seguridad, y procedimientos operativos del hotel, y mantener la confidencialidad en todo momento.

 

Requisitos

      • Técnico en cocina.
      • Experiencia minima de 2 años en manejo de producciones de alimentos y centro de porcionamiento de proteinas.
      • Conocimientos en porcionamiento.
      • Manejo y control de inventarios.
      • Conocimiento avanzado en la inocuidad de los alimentos.
      • Conocimiento en lavado y desinfección de alimentos.
