JOB DESCRIPTION

The Hilton Anaheim is searching for their next Pastry Cook to join the team! If you have a passion for customer service and want to learn and grow in the hospitality industry this is the perfect opportunity!

The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

  • A Minimum of 1 year experience in pastry production in a high-volume environment, preferably a hotel or commissary bakery setting  
  • Knowledge and experience in various pastry techniques including dough, batter, cakes, cake and pastry finishing, and strong piping skills 
  • Previous experience with cake assembly and decorating including layer cakes
  • Previous experience as a pastry line cook or possess pastry and dessert plating skills
  • Knowledge of baking times and commercial pastry equipment 
  • Positive, team forward attitude 
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that includes early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays 
  • Pastry/Culinary school experience is a plus!
