About the Role

Duties

• Wash and disinfect kitchen and storeroom areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
• Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals at the appropriate levels to clean dishes
• Clean and maintain sanitation areas and organize cleaning supplies
• Clean the dishwashing machine
• Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items.
• Monitor food quality while preparing food.
• Serve food in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Skills & Experience

• Unrestricted working rights for Australia
• I’m Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth)
