The iconic Waldorf Astoria property in New Orleans, The Roosevelt, is seeking an On-Call Host/Hostess to join the team!

Job Summary
The Outlet Host/Hostess is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and supporting the dining experience by ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. This role also assists with basic cashiering duties and collaborates with the Food & Beverage team to deliver exceptional service in alignment with Hilton standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, offering assistance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready host stand and dining area.
• Manage reservations, confirm large bookings, and coordinate seating with servers and leadership.
• Demonstrate strong menu knowledge, including dietary considerations and outlet offerings.
• Assist with labeling and maintaining buffet areas, ensuring cleanliness and accuracy.
• Provide courteous and timely responses to guest inquiries, escalating when necessary.
• Support cash handling procedures and ensure the cashiering station is properly set for service.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to support smooth operations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.
