About the role
Rosewood Hotels’ is seeking an experienced Senior Spa Therapist to join our award-winning spa team at our stunning resort at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, Northland. In this full-time role at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa and wellness services to our discerning guests, contributing to their overall relaxation and rejuvenation experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering a range of luxurious spa treatments and therapies such as massages, facials, body treatments and hydrotherapy services
- Providing expert advice and guidance to guests on treatments, products and holistic wellness
- Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety and professionalism in all aspects of service delivery
- Assisting with the training and development of junior spa therapists and coordinating spa contractors
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of spa operations and guest experiences
- Promoting and selling spa retail products to enhance guest satisfaction
- Managing booking and payments.
- Educating the wider team on Spa treatment options by offering Associate treatments.
What we’re looking for
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified spa or beauty therapist, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of a wide range of spa treatments, techniques and product knowledge
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating unforgettable guest experiences
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and advise guests
- A professional, discreet and empathetic approach when working with clients
- Organised and computer savvy.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Excellent grooming and presentation (personally and for the Spa)
