Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Engineer Apprentice to join the team in Chicago’s Gold Coast!

What will I be doing?

As an Engineer Apprentice, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Assists Engineers and trains with Engineers/trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas
• Performs a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry
• Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance. Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments
• Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments
• Performs additional office-related work (i.e. receives deliveries, runs errands for parts, etc.).
