What you will be doing:   

Reporting to the F&B Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist guests with menu items and make recommendations
• Sell and up-sell food and beverage items in a positive manner
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, and preparation methods
• Deliver and present food items to guest tables
• Process guest checks efficiently
• Bus and re-set tables
• Perform opening, cleaning, and closing duties
• Handle guest concerns and recoveries according to brand standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
• Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected
• Other duties as assigned.

Your experience and skills include: 

• At least 6 months a-la-carte serving experience required in the last 5 years
• Successful completion of Food and Beverage test required 80% or above
