About the role: 

The Sever is an integral role in the guest experience.  This position is responsible for taking orders from guests, making insightful recommendations and timing service to ensure satisfaction. The Server ensures all orders are completed exactly as requested and completes quality checks throughout service. This requires a person with the hospitality spirit to connect with guests, ensure all details are attended to and communicates positively and effectively with team members. It is expected for the Server to be highly knowledgeable about all menu items and ingredients and be able to describe items in an enthusiastic and confident manner, demonstrating Four Seasons Standards of service. This position requires a friendly and calm demeanor in a sometimes hectic and demanding environment.

We are seeking candidates who have a passion for providing the best in class service and can connect with guests by creating experiences, memories and demonstrating the finer touches of luxury service.

The qualified candidate will be able to complete a knowledge test on menus. Previous experience required and must have a flexible schedule.

What you will do:

• The ability to manage several tables at once, be flexible with single diners or large groups, ensure timing and sequence of orders to guest preference.
• The ability to ensure proper mise en plas for each service and menu items
• The ability to provide quality control check of food items before presentation.
• Report any glitches to management in a timely manner.
• The ability to stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments.
• The ability to check and recheck the bar during service

• Friendly and Calm Demeanor
• Previous experience in Food and Beverage roles and employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
• Strong communication skills
