Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join the team!

About the position:

The Accounting Assistant reports to the Staff Accountant and is responsible for assisting him/her in and managing the daily financial operations of the hotel relating to accounts payable, and other administrative selected duties.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.
• Payment Management: Prepare and execute timely payments to vendors
• AP Aging Balance Reconciliation: Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
• Vendor Communication: Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve payment issues, and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
• Compliance and Internal Controls: maintain effective internal controls, ensure proper documentation, filing, and adherence to regulatory requirements for audits.
• Financial Reporting and Month-End Processes: Assist with the month-end process, and with preparation of financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.

The ideal Accounting Assistant candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degrees in finance/accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Understand and possess a good knowledge of Accounting and Finance.
• Working knowledge of hotel systems and operations preferred.
• Experience with Birchstreet, Opera PMS, F&B POS, SUN systems is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own tasks, as well as working effectively in a cross-functional team.
