Job Mission:  To maintain, control, and safeguard the supply of tableware, glassware, flatware, assembly equipment, buffet decorations, and bar equipment to all points of consumption for operational use, ensuring sufficient quantities to meet operational needs. This must always be based on the quality, cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and conduct standards established by the Gran Meliá brand.

What will your main responsibilities be? 

  • Organize, train, and supervise staff; manage shift changes; distribute daily cleaning tasks; and create schedules. Coordinate with silversmithing supervisors.
  • Staying informed of consumption needs and keeping supplies always full, as well as covering any additional needs that may arise.
  • Conduct inventories of all equipment in consumption centers, cellars, and warehouses. Also, report any incidents related to breakages.
  • Manage preventive maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning , or general refurbishment, according to instructions. Control HACCP .
  • Ensure that safety and hygiene standards are understood and applied correctly.
  • Perform checklists of open points of sale. Also, supervise the cleanliness of the buffet and service equipment in the restaurant.
  • Report any incidents to the Executive Chef.
