At the Meliá Madrid Princesa hotel, we are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor capable of overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the restaurant and events, guaranteeing excellent service aligned with the quality standards of Meliá Hotels International, with the aim of ensuring customer satisfaction, the correct execution of operational procedures and the efficient management of the team.

 

Main Mission

 

Operation and Service

 

  • Supervise the daily operation of the restaurant and event rooms, ensuring professional and efficient service
  • Ensure the correct implementation of Meliá’s service standards.
  • Coordinate setups, shifts and service dynamics (breakfasts, lunches, dinners and events).
  • Handle customer incidents or complaints quickly and with a focus on excellence.

 

Team Management

 

  • Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant’s operational team
  • Organize shifts, distribute tasks, and ensure compliance with rules and procedures.
  • To foster a positive work environment focused on employee well-being.

 

Quality and Customer Experience

 

  • To guarantee a memorable experience for every guest, taking care of every detail of the service.
  • Analyze satisfaction metrics and propose improvements.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.

 

Control and Administration

 

  • Monitor inventories and orders of operating materials.
  • Support the control of costs, consumption, and efficiency of the department
  • Perform cash register closing and billing supervision when necessary.

 

What are we looking for in you?

 

  • Previous experience as a supervisor or in similar roles in 4*–5* hotels.
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant service and hospitality standards.
  • High level of Spanish and English; other languages ​​are a plus.
  • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage teams.
  • Training in hospitality, tourism or similar (valued).
