About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Reservations Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact in a guest’s journey—helping them plan, personalize, and book their stay while maximizing sales opportunities for the hotel.
What You’ll Do
- Handle and process reservations with accuracy, efficiency, and a focus on delivering excellent service.
- Maximize room sales through proactive selling and up‑selling techniques.
- Review daily reservations and ensure all information is accurate and communicated to the correct departments.
- Verify guest and small group arrival details, preferences, and pricing.
- Support administrative tasks including correspondence, filing, and email communication.
- Maintain a strong sales mindset, converting every enquiry into an opportunity.
- Partner with the Reservations and Group & Tour teams to maximize revenue.
- Ensure commissions, rejected business, and guest information are documented correctly.
- Follow credit policies, pricing controls, brand standards, and hotel procedures.
- Maintain exceptional guest service standards and tidy workspaces.
- Support team members and carry out additional duties as required.
