The  Melia Paris Vendôme , a 4-star boutique hotel located a stone’s throw from the famous Place Vendôme, is looking for its future talent as an Apprentice Receptionist (M/F).

Main Missions:

Welcoming and ensuring the smooth running of guest check-ins and check-outs;
Participating in the preparation of arrivals and departures on the day of arrival and subsequent days;
Informing and advising guests throughout their stay (information on the hotel’s various services, local tourist attractions and activities, etc.) and ensuring they have everything they need;
Handling arrival and departure administrative formalities (check-in & check-out for individual guests and groups);
Processing invoices and payments;
Handling relocations in case of overbooking or at the guest’s request
; Managing the switchboard;
Making reservations when the reservations department is closed
; Boosting last-minute sales and generating additional bookings;
Participating in customer loyalty initiatives and promoting the hotel’s various services;
Responding to information requests from different departments

What is your profile? 

• Student pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Hospitality Management
• Fluency in English. Spanish is an asset. 
• Proficient in office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the city of Paris and the main French tourist attractions
