To be of service.  Sell, deliver and account for products in the dining room in a manner consistent with the SMI standards. These tasks are to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

• Proper and friendly service when in contact with all guests

• Be familiar with all aspects and services of Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa
• Maintain extensive knowledge of menu, food preparation techniques
• Maintain extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, beer
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and service stations
• Serve from the cheese cart and maintain extensive knowledge of cheeses
• Other duties as assigned
• Side work duties

• Need excellent communication skills.  Must be able to communicate clearly and listen attentively to management, guests and fellow employees.
• Able to demonstrate use of good judgment.
• Basic Math; cash handling skills necessary
• Food & Beverage experience
• Food handlers card
• Able to stand and be mobile for up to 6 hours.
• Flexable availability/ Open to work holidays and weekends
• Able to lift, bend and stoop to perform various tasks.
• Able to lift frequently and carry bus trays and other objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Able to move quickly and efficiently.
