In this role as the Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you would be responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in the direction and administration of all Housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of (2) years of management experience in hotel/housekeeping. Previous management and supervision experience is required. Four year college degree is preferred. Bi-lingual speaking ability (English/Spanish) is preferred. The ideal candidate must possess knowledge of basic sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills to prepare and analyze moderately complex calculations for financial reporting. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members, vendors and contractors, both in written and verbal format. Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to read/understand memorandums and financial reports. Ability to supervise a team consisting of a large number of people. Knowledge of the housekeeping industry and trends within the Housekeeping field.
