Purpose

As Cafe Manager you will assume full responsibility for managing every facet of our cafe. This role offers you a unique platform to demonstrate your exceptional leadership abilities, gastronomic proficiency, and talent for providing extraordinary guest experiences that will leave a lasting impression.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the Cafe and develop innovative and insightful strategies for optimising guest experience and revenue growth opportunities
  • Leverage your extensive expertise to guide and mentor your team, ensuring they consistently craft memorable moments
  • Manage all administrative and planning aspects of the department, including but not limited to scheduling, reporting, package and promotion development, recruitment, personnel management, inventory management, and ordering

 

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience as a Café Manager, with barista and latte art efficiency
  • Strong leadership skills to engage, inspire, and cultivate your team, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
  • Proven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedules
  • Effective communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and a keen sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations
  • Possession of a valid RSA is preferable
  • This role operates on a Monday – Friday roster, with no weekend and public holidays required
