About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Luggage & Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure, handling their luggage and any belongings with efficiency and care.

As Luggage & Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise, motivate, and guide the Luggage Porters and Door team daily
• Conduct daily briefings to communicate occupancy, VIP arrivals, group movements, and special requests
• Oversee and execute secure handling, accurate tagging, storage, and delivery of guest luggage in adherence to security standards.
• Manage guest traffic flow at hotel entrances, coordinating vehicles, taxis, and private transport
• Support inventory control of luggage carts, tags, umbrellas, and entrance equipment
• Assist management with team performance reviews and training documentation
• Monitor the hotel entrance and luggage areas, ensuring they remain clear and safe.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
• Maintain the presentation of the front of house area to ensure a luxury experience from arrival to departure.
• Assist with transportation arrangements, including taxis, airport transfers and valet services.
• Coordinate closely with Concierge, Reception, Bell Desk, Housekeeping, and Security teams
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Chief Concierge.

As Luggage & Door Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in the same role is preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
• Well-groomed appearance, adhering to the hotel’s grooming standards.
