Role Overview:

As a Porter, you’ll play an essential role in shaping each guest’s first and last impression. From assisting with luggage and providing directions to answering inquiries, you’ll ensure guests feel cared for and at home from the moment they arrive until their departure. Your attentive and proactive service will contribute to the overall atmosphere of warmth and hospitality, making you a key part of the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring each guest receives a warm welcome upon arrival and a sincere farewell upon departure, and building genuine connections with guests, often in a brief interaction, to make their experience unforgettable.
• Assisting with all needs at the concierge desk, entryway, and parking area, including valet services and ensuring safe, efficient handling of guest vehicles.
• Maintaining the presentation of the lobby, driveway, and parking areas to uphold a polished, welcoming atmosphere.
• Providing a memorable, efficient, and personalized experience, noting and recording guest preferences for future visits.
• Addressing guest concerns promptly and incorporating their feedback to continuously improve satisfaction.
• Gathering and sharing local insights to fulfill guest requests, from sporting events to popular attractions and dining recommendations.

About You:

To thrive as a Porter, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ideally in hospitality.
• A current, open driver’s license is essential for valet services and vehicle handling.
• Must have current active working rights in Australia
• The ability to connect with guests and create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
• Skill in upselling and promoting our venues and services, enhancing the guest experience while boosting brand loyalty.
• A genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry, bringing energy and dedication to each guest interaction.
• A proactive attitude toward developing your skills, evolving in your role, and staying updated on industry trends.
