Job Description

 

We’re looking for a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team in Visakhapatnam, India. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating exceptional pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. You’ll work collaboratively with our kitchen team to develop innovative menu items, manage pastry operations efficiently, and ensure every creation meets our exacting specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to culinary excellence.

  • Design, prepare, and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods that meet established quality standards and specifications
  • Develop and innovate new pastry recipes and menu items while maintaining consistency with established culinary standards
  • Train, mentor, and supervise pastry kitchen personnel, ensuring they adhere to proper techniques, hygiene standards, and professional conduct
  • Maintain meticulous control over food quality by checking taste, temperature, visual appeal, and portion sizes of all pastry items
  • Implement and enforce strict food safety and hygiene protocols, including HACCP standards, to prevent contamination and ensure safe food handling practices
  • Manage inventory, storage, and procurement of pastry ingredients and supplies in a hygienic and organized manner, minimizing waste and controlling costs
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and stored according to established procedures
