MISSION :
Ensures alignment and communication between the brand strategy and its implementation in the hotels within their area, as well as prioritizing projects based on business objectives, aligning with and supporting the strategy of the Regional Sales Director. They are responsible for the marketing of all hotels in their geographic area.
Function Activities:
- Participate in defining and developing the marketing strategy of the brands and supervise the implementation of said strategy in the hotels that are under your responsibility.
- Supporting hotels in implementing brand strategy in their marketing plans.
- Participate in the definition and design of the Annual Marketing Plan, providing feedback and input from the hotels under your responsibility.
- Define and participate in the development of the Marketing Plan for the hotels under your responsibility and ensure that said Marketing Plan is aligned with the brand and hotel strategy. KEY HOTELS AND PREMIUM: Lead the Annual Marketing Plan for the HOTEL in conjunction with the General Manager and the Hotel’s DOS&M (Detailed Organization, Marketing & Marketing).
- Define and implement all the necessary assets for multichannel marketing in collaboration with the Regional Sales Director.
- Execute the campaigns defined in the hotel’s marketing plan: creation of materials, production, identity, design, together with the hotel’s DOS&M.
- Execute the B2B campaigns and materials required for this segment in accordance with the guidelines of MELIA PRO, MICE, BT.
- Provide feedback on the brand development strategy to maximize opportunities and meet the needs of hotels in the area.
- Constantly detect the business needs of the area to identify requirements.
- Serve as the point of contact between the hotel’s PR agency to ensure all activities align with the brand vision. Coordinate daily operations with brand agencies on all aspects of brand content/storytelling within the communication and public relations framework.
- Support RFPs from HOTEL agencies.
- Create the hotel’s Public Relations calendar. Ensure this calendar is coordinated with the GLOBAL calendar for all PR Network markets.
- PR – Control and coordination of all press visits by PR Network agencies to hotels under your responsibility.
- Create a report of the results of the press visits.
- Validate, monitor and execute the marketing budget of the hotels under your responsibility.
- Support new openings with a pre-opening marketing plan.
- Execute the actions and asset needs.
- Coordinate launch with the Marketing Director in the case of KEY HOTELS.
- To be the point of contact between the hotel’s social media agency and the brand, ensuring that all activities align with the brand vision. To coordinate daily operations with brand agencies regarding all aspects of brand content/storytelling in communication and public relations.
- Support the creation of RFPs from social media agencies.
- Review the weekly calendars to ensure that the content meets brand standards in terms of image and tone of voice.
- Approve influencers provided by the Social Media & PR team or directly from the hotel to ensure they align with the brand’s tone. Also, propose influencers to the brand.
- Creating Casa Account Vouchers, coordinating stays, generating results reports, etc.
- Execute Partnership actions according to brand strategy in hotels where applicable.
- Support the Marketing Director in the execution of brand partnerships when they involve specific hotels.
- Ensure the correct implementation and execution of the content defined by the brand strategy in the hotels. Define the hotel’s content needs to serve the different communication and distribution channels.
- Support and coordinate hotel photo and video shoots and physically attend (depending on relevance) hotel video shoots and photoshoots.
- Review offline and online materials until production is complete. Request approval from the MARCA director.
- Ensure a proper flow of this content to all channels and touchpoints of the organization so that it is always available to everyone who needs it.
- Supervise and organize styling, props, Casa Account vouchers, communication of needs with the hotel, etc.
- Ensure all hotel content is up-to-date on MELIÁ.COM and MELIÁ PRO PREMIUM through your BUSINESS PARTNER. Review the copywriting of all materials related to your hotel.
- Prepare and update brand and hotel presentation materials and documentation to familiarize new employees with the company’s marketing strategy. Support the Expansion team in your assigned area or brand when new projects arise.
- Conduct hotel presentations to partners, investors, etc.
- He is responsible for developing the identity of a new outlet, always under the supervision of the SENIOR BRAND MANAGER and in accordance with the suppliers accredited by the brand.
- Create the marketing plan for the F&B outlet: Maintain profiles and create new promotions on TheFork, Bookingtek.
- Create the RFP process for the social media and PR agency to handle the communication for the outlet in question, together with the SOCIAL MEDIA & PR team.
- Attend to all requests and ensure that the experience is correct under the PR and Social Media protocols in relation to journalists and influencers.
- Being in charge of designing the identity of any material related to the fairs, as well as supervising the image of GIVE AWAYS or other materials.
- Execute the hotel’s graphic identity line and all necessary collateral and promotional material, always through brand-approved suppliers and under the supervision of BUSINESS PARTNER, in accordance with the identity manuals.
- Request approval from the brand director when new adaptations or designs not covered in the brand manual are needed.
What are we looking for?
- 3 to 4 years of previous experience working in the hotel sector or in a similar position.
- Training in Digital Marketing, Marketing and/or Tourism.
- Language: Spanish, Portuguese (BR) and advanced English.
- Knowledge of the hotel industry, including the trends, challenges, and opportunities it faces.
- Knowledge of marketing and sales strategy.
- Solid understanding of the Meliá Hotels International brand, its value proposition, its market positioning and its visual identity.
