Melià Hotels International is seeking a Hostess Supervisor to join our team at Torre Melina Gran Melià Hotel . We are looking for a passionate candidate with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who believes they have a natural aptitude for building customer relationships.

MISSION:

Responsible for food and beverage service at the assigned outlet within the hotel, performing duties efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. Responsible for greeting customers at the assigned outlet and monitoring them throughout their visit.

What will your main responsibilities be?

Responsible for the reception, monitoring and departure of customers at the assigned Outlet.

Carry out and ensure compliance with the instructions of your immediate supervisor regarding tasks and obligations assigned to you before and at the end of your shift.

Verify that you have all the necessary equipment and supplies to provide room service and handle it properly to avoid breakage, waste, and losses.

Participate in the “briefings” at the beginning of each shift in order to receive information about the day’s specialties, shortages, VIPs, groups, general comments and exchange of opinions.

Prepare the service setups according to the established quality and presentation standards, verifying that all products are included, such as cutlery, salt shakers, napkins, sauces, dressings, etc.

Attend department meetings and continuously participate in training scheduled for your position.
