About the Job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within the Culinary Department, the Commis de Cuisine assists in the preparation, production, and presentation of dishes for SACHI. The Commis Chef reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine.

 

As Commis de Cuisine, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with Mandarin Oriental standards.
  • Ensuring all mise en place is ready for service.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas.
  • Supporting senior chefs in day-to-day operations and learning new culinary techniques.
  • Complying with all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
