The Marketing Coordinator plays an essential role in driving the hotel’s brand presence, public relations, and promotional activities. This creative, detail-oriented individual will support the Commercial team in executing marketing campaigns, managing social media channels, producing content, and coordinating on-property events to maximize revenue and market share.
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will execute brand and promotional activities to the highest standards. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks:
Social Media & Content Creation: Manage the hotel’s official social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Create engaging copy, high-quality visuals, and video content that align with brand standards.
Campaign Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across all revenue streams, including Rooms, Food & Beverage (F&B), Corporate Events, and Spa/Leisure.
Collateral & Asset Management: Coordinate the production of hotel marketing materials (menus, brochures, digital signage, and flyers), working closely with graphic designers and printers.
Public Relations & Events: Assist in organizing on-property promotional events, media visits, and community relations activities. Maintain an updated media database.
Website & eCommerce Updates: Ensure the hotel’s website, third-party platforms, and digital listings are accurate, up to date, and optimized with fresh imagery and promotional offers.
Brand Compliance: Monitor all on-property collateral and digital outputs to ensure strict adherence to international brand identity and guidelines.
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Education: A university degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, public relations, or advertising (hospitality or luxury retail experience is a strong plus).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media management tools and basic design platforms (such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite). Strong photography/videography skills for content creation are highly desirable.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic. Copywriting experience is an asset.
