We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Commis to join our culinary team in Bangalore, India. As a Commis, you will be a vital part of our kitchen operations, working alongside experienced chefs and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food preparation and service. • Prepare and organize your workstation before each shift, ensuring all tools, ingredients, and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for service
• Assist senior chefs with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards
• Follow recipes and cooking instructions precisely, paying close attention to portion sizes, plating standards, and presentation requirements
• Maintain exceptional food safety and hygiene standards at all times, adhering to all kitchen protocols and local health regulations
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, fryers, and other culinary tools
• Support the kitchen team during service, responding quickly to requests and adapting to changing priorities in a high-pressure environment
• Clean and sanitize your workstation, equipment, and kitchen areas throughout and after each shift
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, communicating clearly and supporting team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
