There is a nautical theme at both of the 25hours Hotels in HafenCity: Stories of sea voyages and distant ports, wanderlust and homesickness will become part of your normal working day here. In Hamburg’s newest, stylish district, we can offer you a job with guaranteed fun and a great deal of variety. As the two hotels are only a short walk apart, we work closely together in both hotels. We are a young team and we love our friendly, informal culture. Work colleagues become friends here.

That’s because the restaurant concept, devised by Haya Molcho and her sons, entirely revolves around sharing and enjoying meals together with passion and Balagan, meaning sympathetic chaos. Now with nine locations, we conjure up delicious dishes on plates and smiles on the faces of our guests. We are hosts with heart, soul and understanding. Heartfelt service and an authentic, personable style are integral for the pleasant chaos at the big round table to the experience that we offer. Job Description

 

How does your working day look like…

  • As part of your job you’ll ensure that processes are smooth, the kitchen is clean and the team members work hand in hand – even if the order list is sometimes longer
  • You’ll be committed to the high standards of our food, and make sure our junior chefs, apprentices and trainees are committed to this goal as well
  • As a trained caterer, you’ll also be taking up the ladle yourself over and over again

 

Qualifications

 

Your personality counts more than your CV…

  • You’ve completed a course of training as a chef, and you have an experience as a young chef or commis chef
  • You can motivate your fellow staff and lead a team
  • You’re passionate about live cooking and international cuisine, and are renowned for your organisational skills in the kitchen
  • You’re not just bringing your abilities, but also your character
