An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled and motivated Duty Technician to join our experienced Engineering Team, playing a key role in maintaining the presentation, safety, and operational excellence of both properties.

 

Job Description

 

We are seeking a Casual Demi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in Sydney, Australia. As a Demi Chef, you will work alongside our culinary team to prepare high-quality dishes whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This casual position offers flexibility and the opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards under the guidance of the head chef
  • Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene and food safety protocols at all times
  • Organise and manage mise en place to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Assist with food presentation and plating to meet organisational standards
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to support service delivery
  • Manage inventory awareness and contribute to stock control procedures
  • Maintain and care for kitchen equipment and workspace cleanliness
  • Support menu development initiatives and contribute creative culinary ideas
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently during peak service periods
  • Comply with all health, safety, and food handling regulations
