About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Culinary Department in Zurich, the Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for state-of-the-art culinary experiences. The Demi Chef de Partie reports to the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

As Demi Chef de Partie , you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timely delivery of all dishes in line with recipes, plating guides, and Head Chef/Sous Chef instructions, meeting guest expectations and dietary needs.
• Monitor ingredient quality, manage stock efficiently, and use proper cooking methods, equipment, and recipes to maintain standards.
• Uphold hygiene and food safety standards in line with HACCP, MOHG policies, Swiss regulations, and Safe & Sound guidelines, maintaining kitchen cleanliness at all times.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork, share knowledge, and participate in training, meetings, and briefings to improve culinary skills and service quality.
