Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, polished, and results-driven Sales Manager that focus predominantly for southern Malaysia and Singapore market. The ideal candidate will be a well-groomed, confident hospitality professional with a proven background in corporate sales, business development, and relationship management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving corporate business, developing new accounts, strengthening existing client relationships, and increasing revenue through strategic sales initiatives.

This position is expected to be home based in Johor Bahru, require travelling frequently to Singapore to meet up with the clients and be presence to resort in Desaru during the client’s check in and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a proactive corporate sales strategy to achieve resort revenue targets.
• Identify, prospect, and secure new corporate accounts and business opportunities predominantly for southern Malaysia and Singapore market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, travel management companies, event planners, and business partners.
• Conduct regular client visits, sales calls, presentations, site inspections, and networking activities.
• Negotiate corporate rates, contracts, and business agreements within approved guidelines.
• Generate new leads through market research, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account information, opportunities, and forecasts.
• Work closely with the Revenue, Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Marketing teams to maximise business opportunities.
