We’re looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Commis – Continental to join our culinary team in Gurugram, India. As a Commis, you will work under the guidance of senior chefs to support daily kitchen operations while developing your skills in continental cuisine preparation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your culinary expertise in a collaborative, professional kitchen environment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Stock and organize the assigned kitchen station with raw materials and ingredients on a daily basis, ensuring efficient workflow
• Demonstrate proficiency with all electrical and mechanical kitchen equipment while adhering to strict safety precautions
• Master and execute basic cooking techniques including ingredient preparation, knife skills, and daily mise-en-place setup for your assigned station
• Prepare food items according to standard recipe cards while maintaining precise portion control and minimizing food wastage
• Apply rigorous food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) in all food preparation and handling procedures
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all equipment and work surfaces within the food production area to the highest standards
• Promptly identify and report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment requiring repair or maintenance to your immediate supervisor
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to support smooth service and maintain a positive work environment
• Participate in all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as assigned by management
• Maintain exceptional personal appearance and hygiene standards at all times
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management to support kitchen operations
