About the role

  • To drive catering & conference business.
  • To assist catering sales team to provide consistence catering & conference services.

 

What you will do

  • To conduct all business practices according to Four Seasons corporate policy.
  • Adhere to Four Seasons Core and Culture standards and to achieve / exceed Guest.
  • Satisfaction Surveys Goals.
  • Respond in accordance to Sales & Marketing core standards at all stages of the sales process.
  • Assist Director of Catering and Conference Services in execution of shared vision and direction in People, Product & Profit.
  • Responsibility for achievement of total Events Sales budget and profitability and individual assigned goal, if any.
  • Develop creative and attractive menu presentations for potential clients.
  • Coordinate the sales effort between sales department and catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues.
  • Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs.
  • Supervise the execution of banquet events.
  • Finalize all bookings maximizing all revenue/ profit potential while satisfying client needs.
  • Keep Director of Catering & Conference Service promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
  • Review all banquet event orders and daily and weekly banquet sheets to ensure accuracy in content as well as spelling.
  • Shared responsibility with Director of Catering and Conference Services in daily management of team in administrative, operational and sales directions.
  • Shared responsibility in leading team in product development, marketing strategies, sales initiatives, and awareness of competition.
  • Involvement in periodic department staff reviews and performance appraisals.
  • Representation of department in hotel weekly and monthly meetings and to head departmental sales or operational meetings where necessary.
  • Initiate team spirit, motivating subordinates in support of department goals, in sales and operations. Interdepartmental relations to be professional not compromising customer satisfaction, revenue, profitability, or associate morale of department / Hotel.
  • To be a role model through sales leadership by example and to be ready to mentor.
  • Empower team members to better facilitate decision making in relation to department and company goals.
  • Lead department Guest Satisfaction. Engage is post-event follow-up such as seeking feedback, conducting post-mortem, asking for future business or referrals.

 

What you bring
