Audio Visual Technician

We are currently seeking an Audio Visual Technician. As an Audio Visual Technician, you are responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment to support meetings, conferences, events, and hotel operations, ensuring a high-quality guest experience at all times

• Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment including microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, TVs, lighting, and conferencing systems
• Ensure all AV equipment is functioning properly before, during, and after events
• Provide on-site technical support during meetings, conferences, banquets, and special events
• Assist guests, clients, and colleagues with AV requirements and technical queries
• Liaise with Event Sales, Banquet, and Operations teams to understand AV requirements
• Attend pre-event briefings and conduct AV checks prior to event start
• Remain on standby during events to resolve any technical issues promptly
• Support hybrid or virtual meetings (Zoom, Teams, video conferencing systems)
• Conduct regular inspection, testing, and basic maintenance of AV equipment
• Report faulty or damaged equipment to the relevant department
• Maintain accurate records of AV equipment usage and inventory
• Ensure proper storage and handling of AV equipment

• Certificate or Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Electronics, IT, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in AV support, events, or hotel environment (preferred)
• Experience handling sound systems, projectors, and conferencing tools
