Banquet Houseperson

A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for the set-up and clean-up of all banquet functions in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Houseperson, you would be responsible for the set-up and clean-up of all banquet functions in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Assist Banquet team with set up to ensure compliance with event specifications and with clean up and break-down after events
• Assist with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
• Assist with execution of all banquet functions
• Greet clients and guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Participate in department meetings, as needed
