Key Responsibilities:

• To be an ambassador of the hotel, in and outside the work place
• Responsible for maintaining a high energy, positive, professional appearance
• To provide a personal service to all the guests, fully aware and following the hotel standards and procedure
• To relay accurate directions to guests/visitors on inquiries regarding washrooms, meeting rooms and or meal rooms
• To assist staff member to insure they maximize their service standards
• To call the supervisor or manager for advice in serious cases or if an approval is required
• To be fully aware of and to report all guests’ complaints and comments
• To strictly respect the key handling procedures
• To respect schedules, terms and deadlines as agreed with the Management
• To share daily activity with the supervisor, including internal and external guest opportunities
• Adhere to Fairmont Olympic Hotel service standards
• To be entirely flexible and adapt to last minute request through the hotel or guests
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by Management
• Perform opening and/or closing duties, as per the position requires

• Customer services experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities and handle a multitude of tasks, colleagues and guest requests
• A true desire to understand and anticipate the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for guest service, strong guest service orientation and training skills required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
