The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Barista to join our talented team!

Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of coffee tea and food items as well as information regarding preparation methods.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Providing counter service to guests through taking verbal requests for food and accommodating the expediting of such requests. Including any special needs or requests through using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; provide items to the guest at the counter or table in a timely manner.
  • Have the ability to describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods. Accommodate guest orders Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of Stir and its adjacent areas. This include front of house, back of house and seating areas.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist with daily inventory and ordering and stock food and beverage and paper supplies.
