About the role
Reporting into the Assistant Bar Manager, you will be responsible for exceptional service and attention to our guests through providing outstanding knowledge of mixed drinks, wines and spirits, as well as preparation methods. Responsibilities will include taking orders from guests seated at the bar area, preparing and serving beverages ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards, respecting the Hygiene standards applied in the Bar as per HACCP system, taking care of any special requests while offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste and preparation methods, anticipating guest needs, ascertaining satisfaction, and making suggestions, and accurately closing guest checks.

What you will do

• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the food server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Maintain an accurate inventory count, process log entries for voids and spillage, cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments.

What you bring

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• At least three years bartending experience in luxury environment, be familiar with current beverage trends and have exposure to international markets.
• Ability to pour, mix and blend a wide variety of wines, spirits and missed drinks. Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, the ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills, be a team player and have a highly creative flair; bringing your personal touch and energy to all our Bar experiences
