Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Create a welcoming environment
• Knowledgeable of wine & cocktails offered
• Beverage inventory
• Bar set up, tear down and preparation of garnishes and mixes
• Stool and Service Bartending
• Cash handling
• Provide responsible service of alcohol
• Assist guests with enquiries
• Review daily reports, arrival’s, VIP’s and groups in house
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year experience required as a Bartender in a fast-paced, high-end bar / luxury property and/or substantial Fairmont food & beverage experience (minimum of 6 months) in a high volume bartending capacity
• Ramp Certified and Mixology certification an asset
• Operational knowledge and proficiency in Point of Sale System
• Excellent  communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, while working cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
