Job Description

 

As the Bell Desk & Valet Supervisor, you will lead by example in delivering warm, personalized, and anticipatory service to guests upon arrival and departure. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the bell desk, valet, and door staff to ensure efficiency, guest satisfaction, and adherence to Fairmont’s luxury service standards.

Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $26.87/hour
Start Date: March 2026

Job Duties Include:

  • Ensure seamless arrival and departure experiences for guests, including luggage assistance and valet parking.
  • Coordinate and monitor shuttle schedules and routes to local areas.
  • Handle guest concerns with empathy and prompt resolution.
  • Ensure proper logging of vehicle keys and accurate valet ticketing procedures.
  • Seeks feedback and recommendation on guest satisfaction and employee experience.
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of all training needs of the department.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Monitor team performance, manage shift coverage, and ensure staff adhere to grooming and service standards.
  • Train, coach, and mentor colleagues; provide performance feedback

 

Qualifications

 

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel environment required.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Valid Class 4 drivers licence, with clear driving record required.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
