KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Anantara The Palm team members are expected to support the business, guests, and colleagues whenever required.

• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service.
• Supervise daily restaurant and room service operations to maintain Anantara service standards.
• Support, motivate, train, and develop team members to achieve high performance.
• Open and close shifts in accordance with operational procedures and manager checklists.
• Ensure proper revenue, cash, and check control procedures are followed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic working environment.
• Coordinate shift operations, including staffing, reservations, floor plans, and guest requests.
• Resolve operational challenges such as last-minute bookings, staffing shortages, and guest concerns.
• Monitor service quality throughout meal periods and ensure adequate floor coverage.
• Maintain team grooming, uniform, and performance standards.
• Oversee maintenance requirements and report repair needs.
• Manage staff scheduling, station rotation, and daily team administration.
• Foster effective communication, teamwork, and a positive work environment through coaching and fair performance management.
• Encourage continuous improvement by recommending new ideas, operational enhancements, and incentive initiatives.
