Chef de Partie

 

The Chef de Partie assists the Sous Chef in ensuring the quality, consistency, and efficient production of their designated kitchen areas. This role demonstrates strong culinary expertise by leading through hands-on involvement while supervising staff and managing all food-related functions. The position supports high levels of guest and employee satisfaction by maintaining food quality, sanitation, and safety standards, while operating within the approved budget. The Chef de Partie is also responsible for developing and training team members, contributing to continuous improvement and strong kitchen performance.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

 

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

OR

• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
