CHEF DE RANG IRD

About the job

 

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Paris within the room service team, the Chef de rang is responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests by providing high-quality, personalized service. Under the supervision of IRD managers, he or she will serve guest orders efficiently and quickly.

 

As Chef de rang, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient service of in-room dining in collaboration with the Room Service Supervisor.
  • Take and process guest orders with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Guarantee impeccable presentation and setup of all trays, trolleys, and in-room dining equipment.
  • Maintain a courteous, discreet, and attentive relationship with guests.
  • Handle special requests and anticipate guest needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the room service area and equipment.
  • Manage the replenishment and cleanliness of in-room minibars, ensuring accurate inventory and billing.
  • Coordinate the setup and timely delivery of guest amenities (e.g. welcome gifts, special requests, VIP setups).
